Episode 174 - Racial Reconciliation

This week's episode is about racial relations. Dave and Jeff talk about the man who slapped a black baby on an airplane. Was race an issue? Hear Jeff's opinions about this controversial matter.

Then Leland, one of Dave's coworkers, takes him and Jeff on a ride to Jefferson St in Nashville, which is a predominantly black neighborhood. The guys discuss what it was like growing up in the area and tons of other things in between.

In between those clips, listen to Louis C.K. talk about racism for just a minute.

Songs Played on the episode:

Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Black & White World
Shonen Knife - The KKK Took My Baby Away
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears - Please Pt. Two

Episode 173 - Babies Against Guns

From The Burro is back after a hiatus. The format has changed a bit...there's less music and more talk, commmentary, phone calls, and bits thrown in. Expect political commentary from time to time as well.

In this episode, I talk with my coworker Jeff about Guns, God, and David Duke. Yep, that's right, David Duke.

I also try to get a loan for $50,000 and get let down a bit in the end.

Songs played on this episode:

The Rubens - My Gun
Spidervirus - The Sums Up The Life
Apa State Mental - Major Mistake
